Celeteque - Sun Care: Matte Moisturizer Review

One day, I was watching makeup tutorials for summer and most of them put on sunscreen before applying makeup, then that got me thinking - I need sunscreen because I always go out and never use umbrellas when I'm under the sun. So I did some research about moisturizing sunscreen's of different brands and I even asked my cousin. Unfortunately, the first ones that I saw were way too expensive for me. Then I remembered, why not look into Celeteque? And so I did. That's when I saw this product. A 50 ml bottle costs Php 230 but when I went to watsons to buy one, it was on sale! How lucky of me. I got it for only Php 115.

What the product says:

CELETEQUE DermoScience Sun Care Matte Moisturizer has SPF30 UVA/UVB Sunscreens that provide double sunscreen protection against UVA/UVB rays as it hydrates the skin. It has an oil-free and smooth finish.

As for my experience with this product, I find it greasy for me even if the package says its matte. It really isn't a matte finish when applied but its more like a dewy-matte finish. The creamy like texture is hard to spread all over the face so five dots isn't enough for me and gives me a greasy and sticky after feel and plus its kind of heavy already. That's just the moisturizer itself. So when I applied my daily makeup routine, it felt heavier and that made me uncomfortable. The good thing about the moisturizer is you can use this when you're on the beach or swimming parties instead of putting regular sunblock on your face.

What I like about this product:

- Can be used on the beach/resort
- Didn't give me breakouts

What I don't like about this product:

- Gives me a greasy after feel
- Sticky
- The texture itself is to thick
- Heavy on the face
- Hard to spread
- Still oily

Will I buy this product again?

- NO

Here are some pictures of what the moisturizer looks like:

This is what it looks like straight out from the bottle.
Pretty thick just by the looks of it.

 When I started spreading it.

 Almost done.

Finally done.

Celeteque - Hydration: Hydrolyzed Moisturinzing Mist Review

This was my first Celeteque product. I didn't buy from the store though, I got it from sample room (dot) com. I was lucky enough to catch the stocks of samples left from their website. So I got it a little cheaper than the one in the store. Yay!

Before I go ahead and write about my review, This is what the product says on its bottle:

CELETEQUE DermoScience Hydration Hydrolyzed Moisturizing Mist contains Hydrolyzed Liquids and NMF that restore moisture to the skin and improve its elasticity and softness. Water from Fuji has trace elements that rejuvenate the skin to make it feel more supple and refreshed. It can also be used over make-up.

So, as soon as the product was delivered, I sprayed the mist immediately after washing my face. I was excited that's why I tried it immediately. At first, i felt a slight itch on the side of my cheek. Maybe it's because my skin was adjusting to the new product, I don't know. But that was what I felt the first time I used it. But then again, after using this product for weeks, I didn't feel any "itch feeling" anymore - which is good though and I felt my skin feeling soft and supple especially even if I put makeup on which lasts the whole day. My face doesn't look and feel dry or dull unlike before. Plus, it hydrates the skin well and helps lessen the oil coming out of my face in some kind of way.

So the 120 ml bottle costs Php 349. You can find it in Watson's or the SM department store (watsons section ofcourse). You can also check it out at their website:

What I like about this product:

- Hydrates my skin
- Didn't have breakouts
- Feels refreshing when sprayed onto my face

What I don't like about this product:

- The atomizer nozzle

Will I buy another one if I run out?

 - Maybe. I still want to try other facial mists since this is the first one I have ever tried.

Switching to Celeteque

Since my face is lacking some love, I've decided to switch to Celeteque products. I would do a review once I have completed and tested the products that I will be purchasing soon.
